October Conference

Join us on October 20th at the Star Center in Tacoma, WA!

Traditional conferences are places where people with a shared interest come together in a room, and listen to “experts” tell them much of what they already know. They spend a day in relative silence, only occasionally talking to people they don’t know. I don’t believe we can achieve housing justice this way.

There will be NO LECTURES and NO PANELS. Why? Because you are the expert of your story, of your experience, of your knowledge, and of what you need – whether you are someone looking for housing, someone offering housing, or someone who influences the housing experience – this conference needs you. We welcome housing professionals, students, members of the community, leasing agents, advocates, individuals with disabilities and their families, property managers, case workers, housing developers and others interested in creating housing justice.

We need to leverage the knowledge in the room. That’s what this day is designed to do.
